Knoll Supports Communities in Africa
Knoll partnered with the French non-profit LYGO to create a reusable bag

Knoll has an ongoing dedication to find ways to support our people and planet. The holiday season is a particularly poignant time to find organizations that give back to vulnerable communities. Knoll partnered with LYGO to create reusable bags for our teams, which were created by a group of disadvantaged women in Dakar (Senegal, Africa).
LYGO was founded in 2008 to create humane workshops, which combine artisanal quality with the constraints of industrial production. They work with people with disabilities, illiterate young women and young people without education and provide them stability and balance as well as continuing education and literacy programs.
Noémie Leblond, Business Development Manager in Paris, shared “It was a pleasure to get this beautiful handmade lunch bag. I loved its style and the wax fabric used which is very trendy. Then, when I looked at LYGO commitment I was even more seduced and proud my company contributed to this cause. I use it every day.”
