Project Manager – Paris, France

The Person:

Based in Paris, you will work closely with all departments (designers/engineers, developer, production coordinator, QC & shipping team), and will help on the office organization.

Skillful, you will have a 360° mission: from the creation of specifications, through the follow-up of the production, to the final delivery.

Your tasks:
  • Assist sale persons during their customer meetings
  • Creation and management of specifications
  • Estimate/Quotation checking and systems Data entry
  • Issue sales orders
  • Follow-up of timelines (and its creation)
  • Manage samples,
  • Logistic organization & traffic follow-up
  • Administrative management
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers
Soft skills:
  • Manage priorities and is organized
  • Rigorous, methodical
  • Adaptable to new operating modes
  • Flexible
  • Autonomous, dynamic and reactive, enjoys working in a team and has good interpersonal skills

Industrial Design Engineer – Excellent Package and Incentives – Syosset, New York

Job Overview:

Knoll Printing & Packaging is currently looking for an ambitious and dedicated Engineer to join our Design team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the leader in innovative luxury packaging working with many of the world's most prestigious beauty, wines and spirts brands.

The Engineer will be instrumental in developing innovative, functional and creative packaging. You will be part of a global team that holds the highest reputation for providing the highest levels of creativity, quality and service, and is recognized in the industry and amongst peers, by winning best in category awards for its products.

Training will be extensive and ongoing so that you can develop the many essential skills to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop packaging concepts based on briefs, lead time and sustainability objectives
  2. Develop packaging samples, renderings and drawings utilizing Solidworks and Adobe Suite.
  3. 3D product modeling (packaging, metal parts, accessories)
  4. Analyze technical and engineering drawings to determine physical characterizations
  5. Troubleshoot new and existing packaging solutions

The Person:
The key skills and qualities of a Packaging Engineer:

  1. Must be ambitious, motivated and professional
  2. 2-3 years of design engineer experience
  3. Think analytically and creatively
  4. Experience prototyping and creating samples
  5. Excellent proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks) and Adobe Suite
  6. Knowledgeable with packaging materials, including paper/cardboard, wood, plastic and metal a plus
  7. Ability to work with creative and industrial teams
  8. Experience within Cosmetics, Spirits and Beauty industry a plus
  9. Excellent communication skills
  10. Ability to work individually and with a global team

Compensation is commensurate with experience
