March 26, 2026
Knoll Printing & Packaging, a global leader in luxury packaging, was featured in the UN Global Compact Network USA’s new report, Resilience in Real Time: Business in a Changing Landscape. The report examines how leading U.S. businesses, including Knoll Packaging, alongside BMC Software, Álvarez-Díaz & Villalón, and Avasant, are making social sustainability a strategic imperative amid evolving global expectations.
Designed as a practical resource for business leaders and sustainability professionals, the report provides actionable insights into operationalizing commitments to human rights, living wages, gender equality, and decent work—highlighting Knoll’s strategies for embedding these principles across its complex global supply chain, including supplier codes of conduct, social audits, and implementing best practices in its own facility in the Philippines.
“Expectations around human rights and workforce practices are evolving quickly, and companies are looking for clear, practical examples of what meaningful action looks like,” said Amanda Gardiner, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network USA. “By sharing these experiences, we hope companies can apply these practical insights within their own organizations,” she added.
The report launched at a New York City event organized by Network USA, featuring a panel with representatives from the highlighted companies, including Ben Cohen, Chief Marketing Officer, as one of the panel speakers. It underscores how investments in fair wages, safe conditions, and inclusive workplaces drive measurable gains in resilience, productivity, and stakeholder trust.
“Social sustainability is at the heart of what we do at Knoll—turning luxury packaging into a force for positive impact across our operations and supply chain,” said Wincy Cheng, Global Sustainability Director at Knoll Printing & Packaging. “Being featured in this UN Global Compact report validates our approach: transparency, accountability, and people‑first practices not only meet rising customer and regulatory demands but strengthen our business for the long term.”
