Knoll Packaging Celebrates Earth Day 2023

The company is facilitating Climate Fresk training globally

In celebration for Earth Day 2023, Knoll Packaging is conducting Climate Fresk sessions in their global locations to deepen our understanding and appreciation of sustainability. Climate Fresk is a collaborative workshop that explores the cause-and-effect links of climate change. Through the sessions, all Knoll employees will be able to understand the science behind climate change and it will definitely help us in advancing towards our climate target. Climate Fresk recently celebrated over 1 million participants globally, and Knoll is thrilled to be part of this larger endeavor.

Wincy Cheng, Global Director of Sustainability, shared “I really enjoyed facilitating Climate Fresk with the team globally. After the session, we can clearly observe how the team has an increased awareness on climate related issues and is reflecting on how we can make an impact individually and collectively as a business.”

Knoll Packaging has set the industry standard for sustainability, including global leadership and product innovation. Knoll started calculating full greenhouse gas emission (scope 1, 2 and 3) since 2021 and has recently submitted to the Science-Based Target Initiative on a commitment of 42% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emission by 2030 from a 2020 base year. Knoll also utilizes materials that have less C02 impact on the environment, including Knoll Ecoform Molded Pulp, and has launched seamless Knoll-Quality automation to increase recyclability of its packaging.
