August 20, 2019
Knoll Printing & Packaging, a leader in the deluxe packaging industry, has released its 2019 Communication on Progress report for the United Nations Global Compact. The Communication on Progress (CoP) is an annual disclosure about its commitments to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
In this first annual Advanced Communication on Progress, Knoll Packaging expresses its full support for the Ten Principles in regard to human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. Knoll has committed their global resources to continue advancing the global goals within their area of impact. This includes:
- Promote a decent work environment at our offices and throughout our supply chain
- Ensure non-discrimination, gender equality, and anti-corruption throughout the company and supply chain
- Source alterative materials and promote environmentally friendly practices through design innovation
- Continuously monitor our consumption and production to identify areas of improvement
Jeremy Cohen, President & CEO of Knoll Packaging, said “When we first began our sustainability initiatives one year ago, we realized quickly how much work had to be done. We needed to fully understand what materials could be used, how to source those materials responsibly, how to adapt our packages, and how to fully integrate sustainability into the DNA of our global company. I am thrilled to share that within one year, we have not only achieved these goals, but also surpassed them, and the initiative was embraced company wide. We are very excited to not only shape the future, but to take a true leadership role in what the future holds.”
